It is hard to see all that we accomplished in such a short time from this photo but you can see the wonderful lady who will benefit from our efforts - Mrs. Pugh. No, we did not finish everything on our list and no,

we are not leaving the house in move-in condition but we did bring a finish line into immediate view for the Pugh family.

To sum up this weekend, our group leader, Troy, says it best:

Why is it that we come back every year? There are other places for us to be…other things for us to do…other people for us to be with. Maybe we come back because there is truly no better song to sing than the kind of song we sing at MLK. Maybe we have found in this act of service a sense of purpose and joy. Maybe we have found in each other’s company a true fellowship. Maybe we come back because God uses this experience to warm our hearts and to remind us how much we have been loved…and how much love we have to give.
