Inspired by a magazine article of two cross continental women who became friends by uploading photos taken by each before noon, I got a wild hair to copy their efforts. I liked the idea of documenting the possibilities or the mundan of each day.

Good Morning!

I heard about this place on a PBS special highlighting Atlanta hole in the wall eating joints (or as Daddy Z says joynts). Nick is supposed to be a lot like the Soup Nazi seen in Seinfeld. I would have to say he is a little gruff but maybe not as dictatorish as the Nazi. The show suggested the lasagna, which is only served on Thursdays, but the awaiting customers gave mixed reviews on it. So I decided to go with the old faithful - gyro. The owners came from Greece and began cooking "American" hot wings, hamburgers and hot dogs. They learned English from their customers and have run the establishment with only their family. Eventually they changed the menu to their traditional Greek meals. I'll be back.
Warning - bring a breath mint for the rest of the day. Oh - and we also were told (and witnessed) that Nick likes it when you cuss at him.
