When you're single and eating for one, a southern homecooked meal does not come out of the kitchen. It's just not worth the time (or dirty dishes). Fortunately, there are many dinners around town that serve a hot and delicious soul food meal. Busy Bee was a new experience for me today. I've passed it many times but had never stopped in for a bite. Bummer - pot roast was not being served so I opted for the friend chicken. To accompany it - the southern veggie - mac & cheese - and candied yams. Followed by key lime cake to go.
