What a "great" day to work outside and do service for someone other than myself. Today is PRUMC's annual Great Day of Service with over 64 teams going out to service metro Atlanta organizations in need. My team supported the Wesley organization by painting the exterior of Mr. Hearn's home. This organization finds assistance for elderly individuals who are not in need of assisted living. They can afford to financially live in their home but can not afford the upkeep of the home. Therefore, it's a win win since they stay in the home for less than the cost of assisted living.
