Michael Finestein was in Atlanta performing with the ASO promoting his new tribute album to Frank Sinatra. Michael is a historian-musician, researching, archiving and performing past performances and arrangmentsof the old greats. He feels it's important to keep the legacy of them alive and for that I thank him. The playlist did not contain the expected classics of the iconic great but offered a new side of Ol Blue Eyes with intimate stories of the personal mentor he found in Frank. Every time I hear the symphony it just brings about great phyllisness.
Inspired by a magazine article of two cross continental women who became friends by uploading photos taken by each before noon, I got a wild hair to copy their efforts. I liked the idea of documenting the possibilities or the mundan of each day.
