Despite freezing temperatures and a neighboring SEC championship game, we headed downtown for the Atlanta Christmas parade. I had heard that it would include floats and balloons used in the NY Macy's Thanksgiving parade. I didn't see any of the elaborate floats but there were quit a bit of big balloons. Parades are a lot like fireworks for me - celebrations in full glory and they are never disappointing. And who doesn't love the sound of a marching band?
