I attended my new church this Sunday and the halls and sanctuary were decorated for this Holy season. This picture is of the Chrismon tree in the vestibule. I took it because I have always loved Chrismon trees. As a child, we would make the ornaments that would hang on the church tree. I do not remember what all of the symbols represent but I do love that each piece has such significance. Chrismon is actually the combination of Christ and Monogram. Each symbol represents Jesus Christ. I also love that most glitter or sparkle. I have thought about doing this in my own house for years and never quit find the time to make the ornaments before it's time to decorate the tree.
