This is one of my favorite spots on earth - Lake Junaluska. L.J. is a Methodist retreat/camp just outside of Waynesville NC. I randomly found it while camping in the area 9 years ago. I think this year's trip would make my 8th visit to Waynesville. I love starting my mornings with a walk around the lake. It is so peaceful and the leaves are so colorful this time of the year. And they have a Vegas Jesus at the highest point around the lake - you have to see it to understand. Too bad I can't stay the entire week.
