This weekend has been about traveling back in time. I have now visited my High School, Clemson and Ft. Inn Elementary. The city has done a wonderful job of revitalizing the old elementary school into an arts center for plays, music and art lessons. It was like stepping back in time sitting in the auditorium and walking down the halls. This is a photo of my first grade class – Mrs. Smith, who I also saw at church this morning. I was extremely impressed with the production – The Music Man – and hope that they can sustain their momentum. It would not be like me to not take a souvenir from the day – I dumpster dived and reclaimed an old desk from the dumpster – who knows it could have been mine?
