Fortunate for me, I was able to join Hallie and Nancy for their monthly dinner club event at the Palate Cafe and Bar. Hallie and Nancy have been visiting a different restaurant each month for almost five years without skipping a month - wow! Palate occupies a wing of The Solarium - the original Scottish Rite hospital built in 1915 for crippled children. Palate offers a quiet atmosphere and great food and service. Small menu but don't pass up the Mac & Cheese.
